Director of Music Ministry Job Position

College Park is seeking a part-time Director or Minister of Music. The position (see full description here) is salaried (not paid on an hourly basis), but will usually require 25 hours/week. Position responsibilities are as follows:

• Plan, develop, promote, and maintain a comprehensive music ministry for regularly scheduled church functions and special events/services.
• Lead/direct adult choirs (contemporary and traditional) in regularly scheduled rehearsals and worship services.
• Recruit and train musicians, volunteers, and leaders for the music ministry of the church while providing opportunities for artistic development and spiritual growth of music ministry participants.
• Oversee expenditures and record keeping related to music program expenses.
• Arrange for a substitute director when it is necessary to be absent.
• Collaborate with ministerial staff in worship planning.
• Coordinate/oversee a music program which speaks to and promotes diversity and inclusion.

Position Hours: 25 hrs/week

Position Salary: $28,785
